- Content Advice:
- The majority of this book comes from Green Tea English Communication Skills OER by Eric Dodson, Luciana Diniz and Nanci Leiton. They have also created a wealth of resources that can be used with this program. We have linked and added some of the resources in this manual; however, you can use the following links to access additional resources: ● Green Tea - Intermediate English Communication Skills OER We have adapted the content to meet the needs of our program. The adaptation includes using other resources (listed below) to supplement Green Tea, and modifying content to fit our needs.. Additionally, we incorporated sections of grammar and pragmatics. Unless indicated in the student manual, these sections were written by the authors from our own experience as teachers of ESL. Each chapter is laid out the same and consists of the following: Section 1: Introduction and Vocabulary Section 2: Listening Section 3: Pronunciation Section 4: Speaking Grammar Pragmatics Vocabulary for Speaking Formal Speaking This book is composed of Open Access Resources from the following sources: ● ESL for Advanced Students: The Way You Like It Advanced Grammar/Writing, Plus Modified Bloom’s Taxonomy, Capitalization and Punctuation Rules by Don Bissonnette is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution NonCommercial 4.0 International License ● Green Tea Intermediate English Communication OER by Eric Dodson, Luciana Diniz, Nanci Leiton is licenced under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License ● Oral Communication for Non-Native Speakers of English by Timothy Kochem, Monica Ghosh, Lily Compton, and Elena Cotos is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial ShareAlike 4.0 International License. ● Problems with Memory by Rice University is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial ShareAlike 4.0 International License.
