About General Physics 1 - TabanliGeneral Physics I emphasizes theoretical models and basic physical principles. The course is precalculus based and uses some basic calculus in the development and applications of physical principles in a scientific environment. Students will use computers in a laboratory for developing programming skills for the analysis of experimental data. Topics include kinematics, dynamics, conservation of energy and momentum, rotational motion, gravity, waves, temperature and heat and thermodynamics. The course consists of eight PDF lecture slides and four video recordings of lectures. This course supplements the College Physics OpenStax textbook. These lecture slides and video recordings are licensed with the Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commerical License. This license lets others remix, tweak, and build upon this work non-commercially, and although their new works must also acknowledge the author and be non-commercial, they don’t have to license their derivative works on the same terms.
